Decompression

Spinal decompression involves stretching the spine while using a traction table. The goal is to relieve back pain and/or leg pain. Our chiropractor also works to promote an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerated, or herniated discs.

Spinal decompression is a type of therapy applied to the spine that brings patients many benefits. First, we attempt to create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or re-positioning of the herniated or bulging disc material. Secondly, we create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients as well as other substances into the disc.

Electrical Stimulation

Stimulation can be a fantastic tool to assist you in feeling better. When applied to tissue, electric currents create thermal, physiological, and chemical responses. The currents also alter pain impulses.

We use interferential stimulation the most. Two channels of electrical stimulation create a third current that penetrates the affected tissues with little resistance. This stimulation will help control the pain and muscle contractions.

There are many benefits of electrical stimulation. Many of our patients say that it helps reduce edema as well as the swelling caused by fluid in the body’s tissues.

Our entire staff is dedicated to assisting you in your healing process. We focus on the root of the problem instead of covering it up with medication. By doing this, we are able to help solve the problem so that you are not in any pain anymore. Our number one goal is to assist you. We are always available to answer any questions that you have.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound therapy is a chiropractic treatment used to help reduce muscle pain and increase range of motion. By using sound waves, we are able to stimulate deep inside the tissue. This minimizes stiffness, swelling, and pain while also promoting circulation, and pain-free movement.

This is a popular treatment because it is non-invasive, painless procedure that achieves results for people dealing with chiropractic issues. The ultrasound device is very simple to use, and only requires a small amount of gel applied to the skin in order to treat tissue.

Exercise Therapy

Physical rehabilitation uses mechanical force and movement to improve mobility, function, and even quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, and physical intervention.

Our physical therapists are trained and licensed to examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities in patients.

We also provide dry needling services. If you have any questions about our services, please contact us today at (606) 679-6385.
